charming city center stay

helpful staff great views quick delivery

I found the staff helpful. Alexandra at the front desk made check-in quick. my kids received a small gift pack upon arrival. the family room on the 6th floor had great views and plenty of space. i enjoyed the room service which richard promptly delivered.

i noticed a slight fuzziness with the tv in the room. plug sockets near the bed would be beneficial too. it made charging my phone overnight a bit inconvenient, but i managed

underwhelming stay. some issues noted

loud air conditioning thin walls

the air conditioning unit in the room was quite loud. it made it difficult to sleep comfortably, and it needed maintenance. i also found that the lift chime on my floor was very audible through the walls. the walls seemed thin, and the constant chime was annoying.

the staff were friendly and the location was central.

the room was not easily accessible for wheelchair users. it was difficult for me to get in and out of the bed and to charge my electric wheelchair overnight because there were no conveniently placed plugs. the interior of the hotel felt very dated

the reception staff offered a seamless check-in experience. the location is central, very close to the train station (it was a short walk). i also found the coffee to be of good quality.

the provided hairdryer in my room was not functional. i had to request a replacement, slightly inconvenient. the hotel should check these appliances regularly.

The hotel is very close to the train station. This made my arrival and departure easy. The staff provided helpful information. They also assisted with taxis. Breakfast had many options (I really enjoyed the fruit selection).

The hotel room cleaning was reduced. My room was not serviced daily. The hotel charged £16.00 per night for parking. This charge was in advance (I found that a bit inflexible). The room's proximity to a nightclub was a problem. The noise was quite loud.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was helpful and attentive. The location is convenient, a short walk to many attractions. I liked that the room included a good selection of tea and coffee (a nice touch).
